A sample size recipe for Noel Nog French toast.
This is all about the feel-exact measurements not necessary. This is ideal if you have 1 lone egg and a little bit of Noel Nog left and are wondering what to do with it. You can also use this recipe to try a single serving sample size to see if you like the flavour combination.
1.5 TBSP noel nog
a dash of vanilla
a pinch of salt
2 slices of bread
maple syrup/maple butter
1. Combine the first 4 ingredients in a shallow dish.
2. Place the bread in this egg bath and let them languish until they are fully soaked.
3. You now have a choice to bake in the oven or fry in a pan the egg-y bread. I personally choose to bake my bread by placing them on a brown piece of parchment paper laid out on a baking tray. The bread tanning bed i.e. oven is set to 350F and the bread is left to turn a golden brown for about 20 minutes ensuring that the egg is fully cooked. You may wish to check halfway through to see how it’s coming along.
4. Slather with maple butter or a combination of maple syrup and butter or all 3!
