This past weekend I attended the annual fitness conference where I get all my CECs (continuing education credits) to stay current with the fitness world and maintain my certification. As always there are workshops geared towards healthy eating for fitness professionals and their clients. Last year I was fortunate to get into a presentation on Vegan Sports Nutrition by vegan athlete Brendan Brazier. So what has this got to do with Meatless Monday?
Well as the name suggests, continuing education is about being a perennial student. There is always something to learn and resources to be shared. In this spirit I thought I would list a few highlights, both in print and on film, for those wishing to become vegetarian/vegan or those wanting to reaffirm their decision.

Some of these I have already read/seen and others yet to be fully devoured. They all touch upon the politics of the commercial food industry with a recurring theme that a meat-free diet is the ideal way to eat for optimum health.
