12 Days of Christmas – 3 Ring Circus

I feel like a clown at a chocolate circus; juggling 3 pots of chocolate to make treats for my holiday ‘choccuterie’.

It wouldn’t be Christmas, or any festive occasion for that matter, without gourmet Belgian chocolate moulded into seasonal shapes and filled with seasonal flavours.

This year I decided to try out Lindt baking chocolate and while I was impressed with the taste, quality and easy-tempering of the dark and white chocolate, the milk chocolate fell short. Here we have candy cane bark with white chocolate and crushed organic candy canes. The dark chocolate bells and trees were finished with edible gold and silver. The other chocolates filled with spiced cranberry sauce and caramel are not showing; I ate them before I could shoot them. Sorry. I’m sure there will be more pics of chocolate in the future.
