It was pizza night in Kimberley’s kitchen. This vegan pizza was made with homemade sourdough crust, Daiya ‘cheese’ (cheddar and mozzarella flavour), homemade tomato sauce and a lot of veggies.
Homemade pizza is great for many reasons:
Social: Share the experience and collaborate with family/friends to make a pie of magnificence.
Health: Control the amount of salt, oil and bread to make a low-sodium, low-fat and low-gluten pizza.
Nutrition: This is your time to get your veggie quota so pile them on. Go for the ones of the deep green and bright red, orange and yellow variety.
And the pizza was delicious (even if I do say so myself)!
